When an order is placed, your plaque typically arrives within six to eight weeks. If your design is more complicated, it may take longer and we will let you know before your design is approved.
That is a drain hole. We encourage you not to leave the hole plugged. The drain hole prevents water from collecting which creates an unpleasant smell and can damage the vase over time. It can cause cracking when temperatures get below freezing. If you buy flowers and want to keep water in the vase, leave a portion of the cellophane wrapper around the bottom of the stems. This acts as a stopper and is easily removed when the flowers are cleaned out. You can also bring a small piece of tin foil or other malleable material to stop the hole.

Bronze naturally oxidizes over time, giving it a beautiful patina. However, some people like to preserve a shiny look. To maintain that, periodically clean the plaque with warm water. Do not use abrasive tools or solutions, including bronze cleaners. Only use a soft cloth and mild detergent.
